Corona.

Lockdown
Locked out of your life with no key
You must stay at home
rolls eyes
Jogger sets and slippers
The dress code in this club
Buying clothes you don’t need
Where are you going?
Sitting in your bedroom home working
This isn’t working
Four walls closing in
Loosing your mind
Is this only the beginning?
You want to make use of your time
You start jogging in the mornings
Before you can blink it’s winter
Ice on the ground
Good while it lasted
Thank you FaceTime
Connecting you to your loved ones
With an internet connection and smart phone
Never been more dependent
You know the virus is deadly
The news tells you everyday
But you don’t really know
Until she passes away
You were staying positive
This will be be over soon enough
But now someone is missing
Taken too soon
Life will never be the same
